#Handcrafted #Airliner Exclusive Drag and Drop

Version 0.9.2
Added a 'Views' panel
Uses this configuration: https://flightsim.to/file/7451/a320neo-custom-camera-views
You can always change the views, they are just custom camera saves.

Plus, since I've started to use the Cessna CJ4 with the Working Title mod a lot lately I've made and added a dedicated Touchportal page for the CJ4 (included in download).

Version 0.9.1
Made a few adjustments, organizing buttons.
ALERT-button now works in Overspeed and Flaps/Slats-overspeed
Added 'View FlyPad' button (custom camera save as ALT-2)

ToDo:
AvtivePause still doesn't work
APR doesn't activate button in cockpit, when button in cockpit is pushed button in TP is responding

Version 0.9.0
For TouchPortal I've made this dedicated page to fly the Airbus a320n by FlyByWire.

99% of the buttons work, I'm still investigating some odd things.
For instance, I cannot get the Appr-button to work properly.
If anyone has idea's or tips, feel free to contact me!

For a proper working you'll need to have a paid version of TouchPortal and get the MSFS2020-plugin from Github.
Some of the buttons are assigned to custom keyboard-bindings withing MSFS2020.
In TouchPortal, tap the button and you'll find the binding.
The central image for instance, is binded to F: default view.
View MCDU is M
Anit-Ice sets ENG1, ENG2 and wings.

Have fun, stay safe and happy flying!

Hi since latest MSFS Update the TouchPortal seems not communicating with the sim. So the client is running and the app as well. Both communicating to each other but the connection to sim fails. Any advice what to do?

Sadly this doesn't work since Touch Portal updated their desktop client. Any pages accessed with the plugin freeze on entry.

I am running the latest updated version and it works still perfectly. No trouble at all.

If you look at the Discord page on the plugin you will see there are a number of people with this problem. Nobody has been able to identify the cause yet as it seemed to appear first on 21 March. Touch Portal have had about 4 updates since then. One of those has introduced the problem I guess. If anybody is having issues they are looking for logs to analyse. A couple have said starting TP as admin has resolved this but that has not been universal.

What version simconnect.dll are you using?

Hi. Quick question: can I use this if I download TP on my iPad? So... if I want to use my iPad, do I download the Github files, run TP on my iPad and connect through SimConnect?

Pretty much, yes. Get TouchPortal, the pc-application, the ipad-app and get it to work. Then import the github files on your pc, as well as my page and you're good to go.

I am still using this page but the simconnect dropouts are annoying. Last night some buttons worked, mainly the ones that changed views, so they were keystroke command buttons. I wish I knew how to make this more stable with simconnect. Also, can it display the outside air temperature (OAT)?

Also, why does the flaps button stay on "1" when going to flaps 2?

    Thanks!

Please check if you are using the correct Java version. I've had those dropouts as well and after deleting the up-to-date version of Java and let TouchPortal install the older version automatically during install the connection became stable.

Also, check for the discord channel of TouchPortal. That is the place to get proper support. I just made this page, not a TouchPortal expert....

This is a very good idea and when it works it is brilliant, but more often than not Simconnect drops out and nothing works. I have been scouring google to try to find some answers with no luck. What is your experience with dropouts? Is this stable for you or do you know of any reason this might happen?

Agreed, if it works it works, but the software from TouchPortal is very fragile. From what I have found the connections to MSFS or simconnect is pretty stable. When it's not working it's most likely to be a function on a page, or a page completely, that is causing glitches. Deleting such a page results in a stable working piece of software again.

I've been using TouchPortal for about 10 months with other applications and have only had occasional disconnects, no big deal. With MSFS however, it is fine on buttons that use simple keystroke commands, but buttons requiring the plugin are the ones that give the problem. Googling the issue has not brought me any results so I am not sure, it is either Simconnect.dll that is the problem or it is the plugin. I will look around a bit more, but my hope was this may be the forum with the most people using this combination so we might get more attention here.

Could you add Reversers? That would help those who cannot start the reverser

that's a great idea. In fact one button could deploy spoilers and thrust reversers all at once. I will work on that tomorrow. I have added some other things to this page as well

      All ideas are welcome!
If you'd like I can integrate your editing and post it here as an update.
That way everyone can use it.
