About this file
Cluj-Napoca International Airport (Traian Vuia Airport) is situated 3 km East of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, ICAO code LROP.
- Hand crafted terminals, some buildings and the aprons (markings, taxiways...)
Unfortunately, because the default MSFS AIRAC database is not updated to the actual layout / procedures of the airport, you must manually configure the approach / departure procedures, including ILS FRQ and HDG.
Fortunately, for those ones who have a NAVIGRAPH subscription, the AIRAC database is up to date.
Installation
Extract the “luciancristea-lrcl” folder from the zip file to your Microsoft Flight Simulator “Community” folder.
Depending of your MSFS installation, you may find the “Community” folder:
Microsoft Store edition AND/OR Gamepass edition:
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_\LocalCache\Packages\Community
Steam edition:
C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community

De când a fost lansată Sim Update 8, aeroportul are câteva errori.
Apar copaci pe pistă și pe pistele de taxi, intrarea în parcare se suprapune cu peisajul de bază din MSFS.
Ever since Sim Update 8 released, there are some issues with the airport.
There's trees on the runway, taxiways and parking areas, and the entrance to the airport's parking is conflicting with the default MSFS scenery.

Check V 1.4.1 You owe me a beer;)
It only works with default planes. It seems that ARC DME procedures are not implemented by FBW A32X so they have to be executed manually.

Perfect job. I really have appreciated all the little details added around the terminal and the accurate ground markings. For now i've used runway 07 to land, which is not provided with ILS in the real world. I'll fly there again soon to eventually land via runway 25 to check how the ILS works. :)

For SID/STAR and approaches try V 1.4.1. Unfortunately, the ARC DME procedures are not properly implemented by FBW A32N. You have to execute it manually.

ILS not working, way off target, and I have Navigraph subscription with navdata up to date on msfs.

LRCL Cluj-Napoca International Airport
