    Here is an update specifically for MSFS2024.

    Discrepancies in the terrain have been eliminated.
    I have also removed autogen buildings from Asobo.
    LODs have been added to various scenery content to prevent them from disappearing too early.
    Sure, not everything is perfect yet, but the scenery is working again.
    Please note that this is a scenery update specifically for MSFS2024, and the 2020 version must be deleted from the community folder.

    Here is another beautiful airfield that does not yet exist in the MSFS. 

    The Donzdorf special landing site (EDPM) is located on the north-western edge of the Swabian Alb, directly above the town of Donzdorf. Wonderful flights can be made from here in beautiful surroundings. There are many worthwhile destinations in the surrounding area. 

    Depending on the wind, approaches to the 09 or 27 are quite challenging. Due to the location, turbulence is to be expected and, in the case of 09, a lee effect. 

    As always, I have tried to recreate the home of the Fliegergruppe 1928 Donzdorf e.V. as far as possible. It was important to me to achieve a certain recognition value and to reflect the atmosphere at the airfield. There is certainly still a lot of room for improvement, but this is a start.

    I am always open to suggestions for improvement and constructive praise or criticism.

     

    Since I can't draw everything myself, I fall back on a few useful libraries that improve the game result.

    Jo men de finns väl egentligen ingen anledning att de ska behöva vara så suddiga bara för att du inte har foton av dem tänker jag. De flesta som gör flygplatser har inga drönare och de ser bra ut.

    Die Dächer sind eine Ausnahme. Die konnte ich ja nicht von oben fotografieren. Deshalb stammt die Draufsicht aus Google Earth. Ich sollte mir vielleicht mal einen Multicopter für Luftaufnahmen zulegen. Allerdings ist das immer ein Problem mit den Genehmigungen obwohl ich im Besitz aller notwendigen Fernpilotenlizenzen bin.

    What a lovely airport in most ways but with some of the most horrible looking cars I have ever seen in flight simulator :) I assume they are Asobo default or something? Perhaps I was jut parked too close :) Also at least on my system the various airport buildings seem a bit low resolution? It surprise me given the rather large file size of the airport. I have seen freeware airports with much smaller file size and higher resolution. Trying to figure out where the MB goes for this airport given it relies as well on external assets.

    Danke für Deine Rückmeldung. Ja die Autos stammen von Asobo. Mittlerweile gibt es da bessere die ich in zukünftigen Projekten oder bei einem eventuellen Update verwenden werde.
    Alle Gebaeude sind von mir im CAD gezeichnet und anschließend in Blender mit Texturen versehen worden. Die Texturen sind größtenteils Fotos die ich bei mehreren Besuchen des Flugplatzes mit der Spiegelreflex Kamera fotografiert habe. Die Bilderauflösung ist 5456x3632 Pixel, daher auch teilweise die hohe Datenmenge. In so einem Flugplatz stecken mehr als 200 Stunden Arbeit. Auf meinem System kann ich bei den Gebaeuden eigentlich keine geringe Auflösung feststellen. Trotzdem werde ich der Ursache nachgehen. Die externen Assets fließen nicht in die Datenmenge des downloads ein.

    Thank you for taking a look. I dont think its because of my system beacause I flew from Stuttgart EDDS with absolutely sharp, crisp textures. Could it perhaps be something about that I use FS2024. Anyway, great airport. Adds so much to flying in the area. Edpecially now with Aerosoft Stuttgart and Aerosoft Stuttgart Airfields.

    A new update specifically for MSFS2024 is now online.
    Please remove the 2020 file from the Community folder.
    It's certainly not perfect yet, but it should work.
    I will continue to work on further improvements in the future.

    Leider bekomme ich nur pinke Texturen, alle Ordner sind richtig im Community Folder, als auch die entsprechenden anderen Libs...sonst habe ich nichts im Community Folder...
