This folder contains a repaint for the Curtiss P-40N by Flight Replicas. It shows Curtiss P-40N 42-105744 #63 'Flo_II', flown by Lt. 'Little Pete' Peterson of the 8th FS, 49th FG, based in Gusap, New Guinea, in 1944. The aircraft still exists, and is currently for sale as a restoration project. Repaint by JanKees.
Thanks for doing this one as well =) Is there any chance you could do a second version with the earlier red outlined insignia and red accents to Lt. Petersons markings under the cockpit? A picture from the recovery of the wing shows this earlier insignia design.
And in the profile of it on Platinum Fighter Sales the blue on the nose seems to be almost as dark as the insignia blue. I don't know how accurate that is, so far, I've only seen the light blue on P-40N spinners you have used here =)
