This folder contains two repaints for the Noorduyn Norseman by BigRadials, in the colors of Norwegian Air Force Norseman RA-C. Delivered to the USAAF as aircraft No.44-70510 on January 20, 2022 but diverted to Norway.  Flown to Newark, New Jersey on January 28 and was shipped to Norway on March 12, 1945.  Served at Skattora, Tromso from April 1946 to August 28, 1947 in the new Norwegian markings and bearing serial No. N-21.  During this time it was on floats but after August 28, 1953 it was changed over to wheel gear and stationed at Bardufoss AFB with the markings R-AC.  On July 27, 1955 it was moved to Horton Flyfabrikk for repairs, returning to Sola AFB September 16, 1955.  It returned to Horton Flyfabrikk for inspection then to storage at Voernes. On March 4, 1956 it was sent to 355 squadron at Gardermoen, then back to Horton for installation of a new engine and earmarked for special duty, having logged 3241 hours.  In December 1959 it was sold to A/S Solbergsfly, Tonsberg and Wideroes Flyveselskap A/S, Oslo with the new engine No. 327195 and on wheel gear.  It was registered to Wideroes September 5, 1960 as LN-BWG with C of A No.550 and Reg. No. 521. It was struck from the civil register October 5, 1961 and sold to Tunisia where it was registered January 19, 1962 as F-OBTJ. February 1969 it was sold to Europe Air Service, Perpignon, France and registered F-BKFJ.  Withdrawn from service March, 1971. Reported as scrapped. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.
