    Description

    Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (IATA: ABV, ICAO: DNAA) is an international airport serving Abuja, in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. It is the main airport serving the Nigerian capital city and was named after Nigeria's first President, Nnamdi Azikiwe (1904–1996). The airport is approximately 20 km (12 mi) west of Abuja, and has an international and a domestic terminal that share its single runway.

     

     

    The scenery is still a work in progress and updates will be made in the furture, feedbacks are very much appreciated.

    Here are some of the features : 

    • Custom made terminals (new terminal included)
    • Night lights and fences around the airfield,
    • Accurate parkings, taxiways  + Static aircrafts,
    • Custom static ground vehicles

    Hello and thanks for this labor of love! Perhaps it's just me but I'm seeing major issues with the elevation around the terminal building. Everything looks beautiful from a distance, but I cannot even approach the terminal.

    Edit: Please disregard my comments above - there was a conflict with the paid scenery on the in-game marketplace. Uninstalled that and this works flawlessly!

    There's a paid DNAA addon on the in-game store. That was the culprit.

    Thank you for your work. We really appreciate that. Unfortunately, people often forget to provide brief information on how to proceed with updates, i.e. whether you simply install them or whether you have to laboriously find and delete old files. Unfortunately, the problem runs like a common thread here on flightsim.to.

    Looks really great on MS 2024, i got GSX to connect jetway no issues. You also corrected the Gate Numbers to correspond with VATSIM. Graphics looks great. Thank you

    Did you have to remove anything from your Content Folder of DNAA before downloading this, or did you simply plop this into your Community folder? Thanks for clarifying. I hear that add-ons conflict with the default mod if it isnt removed first!!

    Airport design is a work of art, excellent addon. For the person commenting about approaches, all of them are there of course - you just need to use them in your aircraft systems, just the default ATC is not seeing them (who cares?). Only comment is, give an option to remove static aircraft, that job should be left to AIG/FSLTL etc.

    Nice airport. On 10 point scale I would give it 7/10. Three points down for some weird terrain elevation, ai traffic despawning after landing and no airport navdata - airport in real life and also in MSFS has ILS approaches for both runways. In fact it has ILS/LOC/VORDME/RNAV approaches. When using this addon you are going to lose these approaches and you are left with the visual approach for both runways only. So keep that it mind. This last one hurst he most, because in my opinion any airport addon should not break the default navdata unless the airport addons bring its own navdata.
    Anyway @ManInTheSky did fine job with this addon and I myself as a part of MSFS community can only say Thank you for your contribution.
