Hangar Studios 713 Presents the Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider Version 1.0.1

 

Version 1.0.1 Main Features - Just about a 80% entire upgrade - Now you can drop bombs, Air to Air refueling(simulated) and cover a far distance in the newly modeled B-21 Raider both interior and exterior with new 4K textures - New manual for assistance included.

 

This is a WIP fresh out of the "Hangar" & BETA with a fully functional flying model of the B-21 Stealth Raider*

WIP (Work-in-Progress) is the key here, and it was developed in a very limited time frame(3 Weeks) since the reveal. I wanted this to be available as freeware specifically on Flightsim.to. EDIT - Now Version 1.0.1 - See Release notes at the bottom

B4Gunner @ Hangar Studios 713 is the sole developer from 3D model/Coding/Textures/& everything in between.

This plane is a bit of a Frankenstein with multiple Asobo assets used with completely native design. Exterior model was finished with very limited knowledge and a few pictures of the actual aircraft by B4Gunner as well. The rest is merge of multiple Systems/ Flight models/ Textures and 3D modeling from Asobo assets configured to fit into the cockpit and the landing gear system. All animations work as intended. I gave it a spoiler for speed control with some custom 3D modeling of the hinge used from another project I am currently still developing (It's also stealthy) and have been working on for over a year. The Raider was made to be fun to fly and all systems that are included work for now.

Detailed PBR 4K Materials used throughout the entire model made in Substance Painter

6 total liveries - Stealth coated black, Digital, Mirror, Sky, Reveal white, Have Blue(Showing the F-117A some patronage) - more to come in a livery pack

Fully animated but still WIP as more will be added

The Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider is an American strategic bomber under development for the United States Air Force (USAF) by Northrop Grumman. As part of the Long Range Strike Bomber (LRS-B) program, it is to be a long-range, stealth intercontinental strategic bomber for the USAF, able to deliver conventional and thermonuclear weapons. The Air Force is planning to replace the Rockwell B-1 Lancer and Northrop Grumman B-2 Spirit with the B-21 by 2040, and could possibly replace the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress after that.

The Air Force began planning for the B-21 in 2011 and awarded the major development contract in 2015. The B-21 is expected to make its first flight in 2023 and enter service by 2027.

Many aspects of the B-21 program are highly classified; the program is designated as a special access program. The Congressional Research Service noted in 2021 that the B-21's technical details and specifications, such as speed, enabling systems, (size, required stealth, structure, number and type of engines, projected weapons, and onboard sensors remain classified) although some information about various other aspects of the program have been made public since 2015. The first photos of the aircraft were released on 2 December 2022, taken during a rollout ceremony at Northrop Grumman's production facilities in Palmdale, California.

I am releasing this as a freeware version with updates(1/6/23). But I wanted to release it (WIP) so the community has some new toys to play with for the end of the year.
