    Description

    This mod reduces the scale of all trees worldwide to a more realistic level.

    Also the vegetation in urban areas is drastically reduced, making cities look much less abandoned. 
    The amount of coniferes in Germany has been adjusted to about 75% like it is in real life. 

    Just copy the folder from the .zip file in your community folder.

    Version 1.1 Update:

    - Update for south California in the region between San Diego and Los Angeles
    - Adjusted tree coverage and size in above area
    - Added some palm trees to that area

    - Adjustment of global coverage in urban areas
    - Adjustment of tree size in urban areas to blend in with surrounding forests

    idk why but the treese in london seem really big i didnt really extract the file i just took the unzipped folder inside the zipped one then deleted the zipped one that was useless

    I did some tests today in MSFS 2024 and i didn't notice any differences i use Bijan Seasons mod and real tree size from marketplace

    Hi, does this decrease the tree density globally or what exactly does 'global coverage in urban areas' mean? If so, to what level is it decreased?

    Yes, this applies globally. I reduced the tree hight in every biome. Adjusted the type of trees in some biomes. For the cities I reduced the tree hight even further and reduced the density by 20%.
    There is still some work to do with this tweak but I have other projects that eat up my time atm. But there will be another update to this.

    Great Mod but I believe with the Sim Update 1 I installed today, the Mod does not seem to work anymore?

    Hi! I really like your add-on!
    However, could you update the file for MSFS 2024? It doesn't work with the latest update. I moved it to the Community folder (along with other add-on files), but nothing happened.

    Hi tekshong, I just checked my mod again with the latest version of MSFS 2024 and I can confirm it is working.
    Please check your UserCfg.opt file, if you have set a custom community folder there. The file was resetted in the latest update.

    Would it be possible to increase the density of trees a little bit?
    When reducing the global scale, trees appear a bit scarce in many places.

    i have put the ForestMod2024 in the communitiy folder, but nothing changed. Something i need to consider?

    So the first thing is to make sure is, that you placed it in the right folder.
    Did you change the community folder location for MSFS 2024 or is it the default folder?

    Should i copy both folders "ForestMod2024" and "ForestEnhanced" if I want to use it with MSFS2024 ?

    No. The Forestmod2024 is for MSFS 2024. The other is for 2020.

    This mod is a big improvement over FS20's original offering. Thanks for this mod.
    Areas checked EGPN Dundee and EGOV Valley AB. Seems to do a nice job of removing trees on the approaches to the runways.

    If you could please southern Illinois is covered with spruce tree looking trees. But it should be oaks, maples, and such. If you could check it out and maybe put in the correct tree types that would be wonderful. Thanks.
