This mod reduces the scale of all trees worldwide to a more realistic level.
Also the vegetation in urban areas is drastically reduced, making cities look much less abandoned.
The amount of coniferes in Germany has been adjusted to about 75% like it is in real life.
Just copy the folder from the .zip file in your community folder.
Version 1.1 Update:
- Update for south California in the region between San Diego and Los Angeles
- Adjusted tree coverage and size in above area
- Added some palm trees to that area
- Adjustment of global coverage in urban areas
- Adjustment of tree size in urban areas to blend in with surrounding forests
Forest enhancement mod
A mod that brings a more realistic tree scale globally, with reduced urban vegetation for a less deserted look. Fine-tuned conifer presence in Germany to match real-life statistics. Version 1.1 includes updates for southern California, urban coverage tweaks, and better tree blend in cities. Simply extract the folder into your community folder to enjoy these enhancements.

There is still some work to do with this tweak but I have other projects that eat up my time atm. But there will be another update to this.

However, could you update the file for MSFS 2024? It doesn't work with the latest update. I moved it to the Community folder (along with other add-on files), but nothing happened.

Please check your UserCfg.opt file, if you have set a custom community folder there. The file was resetted in the latest update.

Would it be possible to increase the density of trees a little bit?
When reducing the global scale, trees appear a bit scarce in many places.

Areas checked EGPN Dundee and EGOV Valley AB. Seems to do a nice job of removing trees on the approaches to the runways.
