Airport Astrakhan (URWA) (Russian: Аэропорт Нариманово) (IATA: ASF, ICAO: URWA) is an international airport in Astrakhan, a city in southern Russia near the Caspian Sea. Class B airfield, capable of receiving AN-12, AN-24, AN-28, AN-72, AN-74, AN-124, AN-148, AN-225, Boeing aircraft 737-300, 400, 500, 600, 700, 800 and modifications, B-747 and modifications, B-757, B-767 and modifications, A-310, A-319-100, A-320 and modifications, A-321 and modifications, DC-8, MD−11, ATR-42 and modifications, CRJ-100/200, SAAB-2000 and modifications, SAAB−340 and modifications, EMB-120 and modifications, Sukhoi Superjet 100, IL-18, Il-114, IL-76, IL-96-400, Tu- 134, Tu-154, Tu-204, Yak-40, Yak-42 and other Class III and IV aircraft, as well as helicopters of all types. Maximum take-off weight of the aircraft: 191 tons. Runway Classification Number (PCN) 63/F/C/X/T. The airfield equipment allows aircraft to land according to the ICAO Category I meteorological minimum (visibility on the runway is 800 m, the height of the lower cloud boundary is 60 m). According to the results of the vote "We choose great names" on December 5, 2018, the airport was named after Boris Kustodiev. Despite the fact that the official order of the Federal Air Transport Agency was never published, the new full name was actively introduced into use by local online publications.
