Today I bring you the first collection of Pilot- and Copilot Avatars (mainly intended for helicopters). It is based on the incredible "F-18 Service Buddies pilot character mod" made by twoseventyinc.
Twoseventyinc was so friendly to support me with my plan to add new Repaints to this Mod.
At this point, first a huge thanks to him, who helped me to adapt the repaints to his mod. Through him, I could learn a lot about texture design! Awesome!

Installation:
Please de-install all other instances of "F-18 Service Buddies pilot character mod" and then simply copy the unzipped file into the community folder.
Note:
As I am doing only helicopter flights atm, please consider, that this mod is only tested with HPG H145. I guess it will work with all Aircraft, but cannot give any guarantee. Also please note, that currently no 3d-model without a breathing mask is available. So we have to stick to it till Asobo or a 3rd party developer will add more avatars.

Hi Five! Do you think in the future there'll be the possibility to have better avatars ALSO for fighter jets' pilots? Cause the ones we have now suck a lot lol xD

This will also allow the original Asobo character, the original mod and your packs to coexist if you pack everything together in a single bundle. This will require to add unique IDs to each character as well and the permission from the original mod author, of course.

You can combine all tree packs in one if you add unique IDs and names to each item inside sim.cfg (for example adding [fltsim.4], [fltsim.5], etc and also [Pilot.4], [Pilot.5], etc in the general section). Remember to place all models and textures in the same main mod folder all together as well.

I know, but the latest feedback from H145 community was to keep all three packs. But i consider to make one additional full-package (honestly, it is already prepared)

Where do you find the sim.cfg? And what exactly do I do?

Thank you for the avatars, I was wondering if you could tone down the helmet shine. In the shadows it turns into like a black chrome. in the light it looks like it was polished for week with turtle wax. In my opinion it is way too shinny. It would be much appreciated. At least the digital camo.

Nice 101st Airborne Patch... That is my old unit! I was a combat flight medic, and my hanger was right next to the Night Stalkers at Ft Campbell, KY. Thanks for the love. Great little pack, by the way. :)

Can you please tell me the in-game character numbers of the mod since I can't see any pictures of the characters in the menu.

Hi,
If yours is a separate new mod, why your installation instructions require to :
de-install all other instances of "F-18 Service Buddies pilot character mod" ?
You should require de-installation of older versions of your package

Because only one instance of the mod is running at a time. If e.g. my Repaint-Mod is installed and TSI-Buddies, it won´t work. It is not a "seperate new mod". Please read carefully: It is a repaint mod based on "F18 Service Buddies" Mod.
