LIML - Aeroporto di Milano-Linate
Version 0.9.5
Important: This airport is not finished. See release info.
Installation:
Copy the folder "prairielet-airport-liml-linate" into your "Microsoft Flight Simulator/Community" folder. (Delete a possibly already existing folder first)
Airport info:
Location: 45° 27' 39.2" N, 9° 16' 48" E
Located directly east of the city of Milan, the Linate airport serves as a hub for ITA (former Alitalia) and destination for multiple European airlines. This city airport provides a terminal with five gates, two runways (runway 36 with ILS) and a hangar with huge Emporio Armani emblem.
ILS for runway 36: ILNT 109.550 MHz
PAPI for runway 36 (3°) and 18 (3°)
Release info:
The goal is not to create the airport as realistic as possible, but more to just improve its visual style and is made mainly based on Google Maps data.
Features:
- Hand-crafted buildings
- PBR textures for these buildings
- Taxiways and aprons with its ground markings are redone
- This release shows the assumed layout after finalization of the ongoing renovations on the terminal
Update version 0.8.5:
- Added some new buildings, including the tower and three hangars at the west apron
- Added additional taxiway markings
- Small improvements of some buildings, textures and aprons
Update version 0.8.6:
- Recompiled after Sim Update 8 to ensure compatibility
Update version 0.9:
- Added additional hangars at the east apron (Linate Prime)
- Compatibility with the We Love VFR mod. See the additional infos in the description.
Update version 0.9.3:
- Additional structures around the airport. Mainly on the landside of the terminal
Update version 0.9.5:
- Recompiled after World Update 9 to ensure compatibility
- Added an additional hangar at the east apron and a building next to the tower
Known issues, currently not included yet or not planned:
- Not all buildings are done. If a building is currently not present, there is an autogen building instead.
- Some buildings need additional work to improve their texture.
- Further polishing of the airport with more details, additional ground markings, better night-lighting and so on will come in a future update.
- The ATC is not able to recognize the no entry signs on the taxiways.
- No optimization for snow on taxiways or on aprons.
This project is made with a mix of default and custom textures. Therefore when using a mod which changes the default ground textures/lines, the look might be different.
Info for users of the We Love VFR mod:
If you still have two overlapping radar domes after the update 0.9 please check the content.xml file. This file is located somewhere inside your AppData directory. Inside this file the We Love VFR mod has to be above this airport (but below the Asobo packages). Then the additional dome should disappear. The file content.xml is editable with a text editor like notepad.

Purtroppo dopo ultimo WU9, nemmeno ultima versione di questa mod funziona correttamente e mi provoca i CTD.
