    - automatic afterburners: set throttle lever(s) to 100% to enable afterburner (ensure your joystick calibrated properly), less than 80% to disable
    - default livery name changed back to ASOBO to make aircraft visible in multiplayer for other players without Warrior installed
    - AOA indicator (while tailhook extended)
    - simplified arresting process (any surface, precise surface collision detection, dust/spark effects)
    - simplified catapult launch process (no crew, launch ~15 seconds after launchbar switch toggled)

    Exhaust smoke density decreased about 70% (improves both FPS and visual quality)
    Archive packed with default Windows archiver, in case you had problems with installation.

it didn't work, when I was on mach 1 the sonic boom doesn't appear

Would it be possible to create a variant of this mod that just adds the wingtip trails to the default F14? Thanks.

Thank you for your work, this mod is wonderful and I am having a lot of fun flying around !

I have no knowledge in code but i was wondering if there was any possibilities to tweak the files to exagerate the "leading edge vortices effect" ? By that I mean increase the amount of steam it produces ?

I am very unsure of how I feel about this mod automatically replacing the default plane. With certain projects, (like FBW, MrTommys projects, and the like) out shine the original so greatly, you would never consider returning to the inferior original article. However, since this is so new is there a way to make your mod and the original stand alone? Just to be able to compare them a bit better. It seems like you've created a hit but perhaps even more people would be willing to try it if nothing was being replaced. Yes, I know you can just delete the mod but believe it or not, I bet it still scares the more conservative users away from giving it a try. Just my 2 cents, thanks for sharing your time & talent with us on this!

I think this mod is affecting static F/A-18 simobject models from the developer kit object list.

They shoot out a constant stream of fumes.

Excellent mod! Achieved a trap after a couple of tries.

Problem: set up for launch, see the launch bar, go full throttle, start down the deck and then crash as I cross the downturn. It says I crashed into the water although I never actually left the deck. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Exuse me but what is "PBK carrier group"? I have the Studd carriers so is it a Scenery?

Any chance we can get this thing to be able to be seen as a regular F/A-18 and vice versa? I was flying with a friend and said the Aircraft code came up at "F18S" and we couldn't see each other's aircraft in the right model; both showing up as beechcrafts.

the latest version does not help the fact that the others (xbox players) still see us in A320 ... 😞 I do not even understand by copying the original aircraft.cfg instead of yours it does not work better. ..

The sim already has a launch bar binding in the control options. Can you some how tie it to that? Currently it doesn't work. The Tail hook binding works.

Need the tail beacon lights fixing. I can get them working in dev mode 'user lights'. But It wont save so have to open dev mode each time to get them working and I can't find then in the files.

I don't know why but it continues to Sonic boom once you go faster than the speed of sound, it never stops.

Do someone knows if it is possible to add an airport for destination while in the air? Lets say i want to fly to NYC Kennedy how do i input the destination on my waypoint. I know i can add in on the global map while in the main page but how to do it while in the air?

When i try and install the entire plane it says that it cant move 2 folders due to the names being to long, then being "touchingcloud-effect-exhaust-smoke-fa18" and "touchingcloud-effects-aerobatics-smoke-fa18". Is there some other name that i can use for them for it to work?

I Love it. The only problom I see is that the vapor effects is kinda hard to "trigger" and the aoa only works when tailhook is down
