| George Enescu International Airport (IATA: BCM, ICAO: LRBC) is an airport located in Bacău, Romania. Named after the Romanian composer George Enescu, it serves as a focus city of the low-cost airline Blue Air. Bacău Airport shares its runway with RoAF 95th Air Base, and Aerostar, a major Romanian aerospace and defence company. The airport is located 5 km (3.1 mi) south of the city centre of Bacău.
Bacău Airport opened for passenger service in 1946. A modern terminal building with a control tower began construction in 1970, and was completed in 1971. In 1975, it received international status. A 2005 renovation/expansion remodeled the terminal building. In 2018, a new terminal was opened and the old one demolished.
In 2009, Bacău Airport became the first Romanian airport to be privately administered by a nongovernmental company. BlueAero, its administrator, was 100% owned by the fully private airline Blue Air. The new company that took over the airport is nowadays the main operator. Other airlines that operated here were TAROM, which withdraw its flights, and Carpatair, which canceled all its scheduled flights. When Blue Air was sold because its parent company`s holding went into bankruptcy, the airport was returned to the local government administration. The modernization promised in the takeover contract was completed to a less than 10% status due to financial problems in the holding.
In February 2014, the new owners, a 50-50 joint venture between the city and county public administrations, started a new modernization program. The project involved the construction of a passenger terminal with a processing capacity of 300 passengers per hour, a control tower, a parking area, and an intermodal bus terminal, as well as the refurbishment of the runway. In November 2017, the new passenger terminal was inaugurated.

ILS approach is available for runway 34 - LOC IBC Freq = 110.7
All the modelings , aprons, taxiways were created based on pictures and might not look like the original one !

Buna ziua si multumesc mult pentru acest produs. 😊
Nu stiu insa de ce, dar de la ultimul update de la MSFS toate navaid-urile (inclusiv ILS-ul si alte puncte folosite in approach, ex. D122K) nu mai sunt functionale. Ar fi fain daca ati putea verifica daca aveti aceeasi problema si ar fi si mai fain daca ati sti solutia...

Singura parte la care am control este partea finala a ILS-ului, cum are fi:
pozitionarea , fregventa, numele si directia. Partea de apropiere a STAR-ului este citita din alta parte. Verifica sa ai ultima veriune de navigatie, inclusiv la avionului cu care zbori. Intre timp am sa verific si eu sa nu se fi schimbat directia ILS-ului .

Multumesc mult pentru reply. Am intalnit problema cu EMB-110 si cu PC-12, ambele cu GTN750. Cand scot scenery-ul dvs. totul functioneaza, de aceea am crezut ca e ceva legat de compatibilitate. Dar problema e aparuta dupa ultimul mare update de la MSFS, deci e posibil sa fie de la ei. In orice caz, sper ca un alt update (de la ei si/sau de la dvs) sa regleze problema. Pentru moment, nu ma 'zbor' pe Bacau 😊 Va multumesc inca o data pentru produs.

Ai cumva in plan sa faci si aeroportul de la Iasi? Dintre aeroporturile importante din tara e cam singurul care lipsește.

Very nice! I went on a voyage across Europe in Summer 2017, and flew into this airport! The old terminal consisted of about 3 rooms 😊

Thanks, there were not to many pictures online to guide me, in special for the new configuration of the apron and taxi path. I had to guess the new taxi C by looking at the charts and a few pictures i found online. I hope i did it correct.
