As the G58 is the flight of choice for the Smeary livery company, it is only right that the X series of liveries is launched to compliment the other special edition designs. Choose from 8... no... now 9... colours schemes which are offset by the robust and complimentary carbon wings.

As usual, packs containing several colour schemes need unzipping, and then the files in the main folder need to be taken out of the folder before dragging them into the community folder.

Comments, feedback and all praise are most welcome. Let me know if there is a model that needs an X series range and I will add it to the list... as long as the plans are available (or I can get a Harlequin design to help me work it all out).

    Hi,
    I installed BeechBaron G58 (9 Colors) and Harlequin.
    All liveries appear correctly in FS2020.
    But neither in the "Hangar" nor in the aircraft selection are the liveries adopted? Only the default version is always displayed.
    Unfortunately I cannot attach a screenshot.

      Hi Heinz, thanks for the feedback. I think it might be something you are doing when unpacking the files (at this point). I use this livery fairly regularly and while I do still need to fix a small tail colour issue they should appear.

      How have you added them? If you unzip the folder outside of the community folder there should be 9 files inside - each with the colour reference. Drag those into your community folder and you should be OK. If you already have some in the folder delete these first.

      Hi, I unpacked the folder and copied all 9 files into my addon folder and linked it to the community folder via AddonLinker.
      I see the Liviries in the little aircraft window on the world page
      is the selected livery displayed correctly, only in the hangar and on the runway?

      I did some more research. When I load the default machine, the ID is ASXGS. For example, when I charge the Burnt OrangeX, the ID is SMYGN .. but that is Orange, that's the problem?

      I have tested the G58 and can confirm that, without any installer, they are working fine.

      I will have to have a look at the addon linker that you have - but I suspect the issue is there... are you able (and OK) to try them there?

      Again, thanks for the feedback - I want these liveries to work for people although RL has been pretty harsh on stuff this year si far

      Hi, the liveries are working! Cause: Despite multiple reinstallations, I loaded the G58 version 0.1.42, friends have version 0.1.48 ?! A friend gave me version 0.1.48 and the liveries work with it.

      Have you tried removing them and then reinstalling them to your community file? I will be checking over all the liveries this next week or so... though they do work for me - I always remove them from the community file and reinstall at each update

      Since the last patch, the Baron livery is pure white! It is now required to add _AIRFRAME before the _FUSELAGE and _WINGS (if painted) in the texture file and json file.

      Also, I want to just clarify that my main Layout.JSON file had to have these texture names updated with the AIRFRAME_ as well, and now I can see the repaint. EG: BARONG58_AIRFRAME_ENGINE_ALBD.PNG.DDS.json

      Add _AIRFRAME_ before ENGINE, FUSELAGE, WINGS, PAINT, LOGOS... of all filenames.

      You have to rename the files into layout.json file too.

      All fixed now... just FYI, I havent included the new burnt orange yet as it is has a small issue and I don't want to package broken liveries. As soon as it is sorted, I will release it in the pack

    Great work! This livery pack looks good on every aircraft it go's on.. So is it possible to get the pack on the (Cessna Citation latitude) I think it would look awesome on it especially that red.

    Looks great but just an idea maybe make all the gray parts black ?? I think the gray makes it look less nice then it would if it was black. Or maybe you can make a seperate pack with the gray parts in the planes black ??

      Thanks for the feedback - the 'grey' is sampled carbon material - which is what it is meant to represent, although I have just used some black on the Bonanza - which is proving to be a tricky plane to do. Once I have made the livery for all the types I plan to, I may then go back and have a look... but no promises as it is quite a time consuming thing
