#Real-Life #Handcrafted #4K Original

This is a repaint for the FlyingIron Spitfire Mk IXc depicting the Canadian Spitfire C-Y2K . The "Roseland" Spitfire represents the life of 442 Squadron RCAF pilot, Flight Lieutenant Arnold "Rosie" Roseland. Rosie was a decorated Canadian WWII pilot from Okotoks, Alberta who flew this spitfire on 65 sorties including D-Day, from March until July 13 1944, when he was brought down in a dogfight over France. The real aircraft resides at 19 Wing Comox, BC.

Thank you for taking on this project. I live in Courtenay and have been a frequent visitor to the Y2K Spitfire restoration exhibit (when the public was allowed in). We were hopefully excited when the project was moved to Quebec and elated when she returned home. The Spitfire is high on my list of wanted addons for MSFS, and once purchased, this will be THE livery I fly. Thank you again.
