The José María Córdova International Airport (IATA code: MDE, ICAO code: SKRG) is a Colombian airport located in the municipality of Rionegro (Antioquia) and serves the city of Medellín. It is the most important airport in Antioquia and the second nationally after El Dorado in Bogotá.1 It is located at 2,137 meters above sea level and has a runway with a capacity of 205,000 operations per year.2 The passenger terminal has capacity for receive up to 17 aircraft with boarding bridges, 10 national and 7 international, with positions 7, 8, 9 and 10 mixed for domestic and international flights.
