Description
Presenting the Bombardier CRJ-700 in the colours of the British Airways "Landor" scheme. The Landor scheme was used by British Airways from 1984 until 1997 and was devised in response to the Airline's looming privatisation. Replacing the earlier "Negus" livery which incorporated elements of the two airlines which had merged to form it, BEA and BOAC, Landor incorporated a new coat of arms and the "Speedwing" (the red dash) which was an evolution of the "Speedbird" which had appeared on the earlier design.
This download is based specifically on G-AVMU "County of Dorset", a BAC One-Eleven which operated for BA from 1969 until 1992. After being retired from the BA fleet it was donated to the Duxford Aviation Society at Duxford Aerodrome where it remains on display to this day.
