    Description

    Japan Air System Co., Ltd. (JAS)  was the smallest of the big three Japanese airlines. In contrast to the other two, JAL and ANA, JAS' international route network was very small, but its domestic network incorporated many smaller airports that were not served by the two larger airlines. As an independent company, it was last headquartered in the JAS M1 Building at Haneda Airport in Ōta, Tokyo. It has since merged with Japan Airlines.

    Wow! I had no idea this livery was designed by Kurosawa. I'm a big fan of his and the very first non English film I ever watched was Rashomon. He is definitely an artist born with amazing talent; he was successful on everything he tried. I did not know he did any work in graphic arts or design... Do you know if Kurosawa's only graphic work was with JAS or did his talent extends to other logos?

    I misspoke.
    Akira Kurosawa's JAS liveries were 7 different types, 14~16 aircraft, painted on MD90 as "rainbow colors" through the late 1990s.
    It is said that the idea was to "make them active as 'Seven Samurai' ".

    It seems that Akira Kurosawa died not long after designing this painting.
    I'm sorry, but I couldn't find any other designs.

    I think it will be possible to display EFB on A32NX (old) while maintaining compatibility with AsoboA32N. In the future, Airbus-A320neo livery will be created for A32NX (new) and support for this livery will be discontinued.
