🛫 LFPG Charles De Gaulle 2024 Massive Enhancements
After extensive testing and some creative use of the SDK, I managed to modify several parts of the airport without breaking any core elements. These adjustments significantly enhance the default scenery and make the airport fully compliant with VATSIM ATC operations.
Note that these enhancements are on top on the scenary since we are not able to edit the scenary locked by Asobo in FS24 so everything present in the scenary is not editable (gates, existing taxi lines, etc...) and required a lot of effort of workaround research and work (more than 30h 😮💨)

✈️ OVERVIEW
🛣️ Taxi & markers rework
A large number of improvements have been made to rework taxiway markings and layout based on updated satellite imagery:
- Trees removed on Echo and G3
-
Again, trees collisions are back again on Echo (4 March), so I've added again exclusion on them and will keep it FOR EVER. (Thanks Asobo)
-
- Taxi Lines & Markings
-
Added all missing taxi lines around the 27–09 de-icing area.
- Added all missing taxi lines around the 08 de-icing area.
- Added the missing E6 taxi line in the southern zone.
- Corrected several incomplete cross‑taxi connections around Taxiway Romeo.
- Corrected incomplete cross‑taxi connections around Taxiways Bravo / Delta.
- Added the missing orange & blue taxi lines on Terminal T2E.
-
Note: T2F / T2D / T2B orange/blue taxi lines are still WIP due to overlapping with existing taxi lines.
-
-
- Layout Adjustments
-
Closed entry TB3 at Terminal T2D by shifting the adjacent building, matching real‑world changes and current charts.
- Added missing Middle 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 stop lines and signs.
-
- Work in Progress
-
Taxiway D (above Terminal T1): Taxi lines have been placed, but removal of outdated signs and ground texture adjustments are still in progress.
-
🖼️ Ortho imagery fix
Corrected the entire area around Taxiway Echo, where the ortho imagery was not displaying as expected and resulted in an unrealistic concrete texture. The ortho photo now renders properly and matches the surrounding environment.
🌉 G3 Bridge elevation
Lowered the G3 bridge to provide a smoother taxi experience, reducing the “step” effect when crossing it and bringing it closer to real‑world elevation.
🚘 Road traffic zone rework
- Reworked several areas around T2B, Taxiway Tango, and Taxiway November, where road traffic and tunnels pass beneath taxiways and bridges.
- These zones were previously at the same elevation as the airport surface, which was incorrect and caused vehicles to appear on the same level as aircraft.
- Implemented a workaround to lower the terrain and traffic paths, allowing vehicles to correctly pass underneath without disrupting taxiway surfaces or causing visual glitches.
🛄 FEDEX Apron rework
- Fully reworked the FEDEX apron (North‑West area), where all taxi lines and stand numbers were previously missing.
- Most markings and stand identifiers have now been added, making the apron largely accurate and fully usable.
- Some additional work remains on the northern section of the apron, but the area is now safe and functional for taxi operations.

me garer dcp je fais des show me the spot à la place.
