The non-metallic fuselages are pink chequerboard; there are no fuselage .JSON and .DDS files in the pink ones' folder, which are there in the metallic versions, which display perfectly; is that relevant?

Yes, Dodboy is correct...those texture files are the issue. A quick workaround...
1) Go to the sim default "asobo-aircraft-kingair350" texture folder;
...Official\OneStore\asobo-aircraft-kingair350\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_KingAir350\TEXTURE
2) Copy the two missing texture files; **Be careful to get these particular files as there are 7 '_FUSELAGE_' files in the default folder**

3) Paste these into each of this addons affected texture folders e.g.;
