Description
Amerijet International is a Miami based freight carrier that is well known in Latin America and the Caribbean. A workhorse of their fleet for decades is the Boeing 727-200. Joining the fleet in the 80s and continuing on into the 2000s, the 727 was a perfect aircraft for the hot and often high airports in South America, especially considering its excellent short field performance.
The 727 was the backbone of their small-medium regional fleet up until the mid-late 2000s when the last were finally retired, having been replaced by the more modern and designated successor, the Boeing 757.
This represents a regular 727-200Adv in N395AJ and N604AJ, a 727-200Adv with the Super 27 upgrade by Valsan.
