Description
CYPK Pitt Meadows Regional Airport.
Pitt Meadows Airport in real life (IRL) is a very busy airport with multiple helicopter companies, regional air charters, and a number of flight training schools. It is loacted approximately 20 NM East of Vancouver International Airport on the West coast of British Columbia, Canada.
This scenery is based on the original scenery by PropellerBC, who sadly has stopped developing for MSFS as I believe he has moved over to X-Plane. He has given me authority to use his scenery and to modify as I see fit.
So here is my modified CYPK from PropellerBC’s original.
1. MSFS 2024 compatible (Not sure about MSFS2020 as I no longer have 2020 to test) - please let me know if it works or not in 2020 - I have now been advised by a recent downloader and user that it is compatible with MSFS 2020.
2. Made several mods to the main Apron 1
3. Added Apron 4 which is at the north east side of the airport
4. Modified Apron 5 (at the north west corner of the airport) to include Helipad 6
5. Removed trees from the entire airport just as it is IRL
6. Added the VOR where it is IRL
7. Modified some of the buildings on Apron 1
8. Added signs at some of the buildings on Apron 1
9. Added Helipads 3, 4, 5 at the northwest corner of Apron 1 as they are IRL
10. Added Helipads 1 and 2 at Sky Helicopters in the southwest corner of Apron 1
11. Added and modified lighting
12. There will be more mods to come in the future but this is a start
