Description

From 2000 to 2016, the Swiss leisure airline Edelweiss Air operated two Airbus A330-243 aircraft. The long-haul jets bore the registrations HB-IQZ and HB-IQI. The former was powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines, while the latter featured General Electric CF6-80E engines. Although primarily deployed on long-haul routes, both aircraft occasionally served short- and medium-haul flights departing from Zurich. They were eventually succeeded by Airbus A340-343 aircraft.

This free add-on for the iniBuilds A330-200, included with MSFS 2024, brings the classic Edelweiss livery into the simulator. Great attention to detail has been paid — the cabin is accurately recreated, the correct SELCAL code is placed in the cockpit, and no exterior detail has been overlooked.

Please note, however, that the livery is not 100% accurate. Due to limitations within the simulator, a completely faithful recreation of the aircraft was not possible. Since all aircraft models in MSFS 2024 are encrypted and no official paint kits exist, creating high-quality liveries has become extremely time-consuming.

How to install the add-on:

Download the ZIP file from flightsim.to.
Open the ZIP file and copy the folder inside.
Paste the copied folder into your MSFS 2024 Community folder.
Launch Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The livery should now be available for selection.
