NEW UPDATE AVAILABLE!
João Pessoa – Presidente Castro Pinto International Airport (SBJP) is an international airport with runway 16/34 (2515x45 ASPH 52/F/B/X/T), located in Santa Rita, Paraíba. As the main gateway to the capital, João Pessoa, the airport sits on a plateau at an elevation of 213ft (65m), in a region with moderate population density and low-rise buildings, allowing for unrestricted operations regarding potential obstacles.
It receives an average of 250 weekly operations (from the 3 Brazilian airlines: AZUL, GOL, and LATAM – data from FlightRadar24), cargo operations, flights from the Government of the State of Paraíba, and charter operations by air taxis. The airport also maintains a route to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
About the Scenery: The scenery features complete and highly detailed modelling (since this is my hometown, even though I no longer live there). The difference compared to existing available sceneries lies in the complete remodelling of apron 2, which was expanded from 3 to 5 new positions, a new logistics building, and two newly installed boarding bridges. Furthermore, the hangars, fuel station, tower, fire station, and other facilities were fully modelled with attention to detail. Another point to note is that on Apron 3 (the smaller apron), the former boarding terminal now serving as the Cargo Terminal is fully updated, as well as the old TECA (next to the current one).
About João Pessoa: The capital of Paraíba is known as the “Gateway to the Sun” because it’s located at the easternmost point of the Americas, where the sun rises first on the continent. This unique geographical position earned the city its poetic and symbolic nickname. In addition, João Pessoa stands out for its paradisiacal beaches, preserved green areas, historic architecture, and welcoming atmosphere.
Note: Updates are in the roadmap as the new details are noted.
Please rate the scenery. Any feedback is important.

Version History
v2.0.0 Changelog: - The terminal has been remodeled, with a new interior. - The new interior only includes the viewing points that a passenger or passerby can see from outside the terminal. After all, the purpose of the simulator is to fly, not to walk around the terminal. In addition, the purpose is to avoid unnecessary rendering. - New objects (stairs, baggage carts, and generator carts) independent of the simulator have been added, reducing version conflicts. - New light points, independent of the simulator, have been added (some will remain, but will be removed in future updates). - Nighttime emissive textures, mainly on the windows. Planned roadmap: - Texture improvement; - Modeling optimization; - Support and complete migration to MSFS2024 (planned for this year, may be delayed); - Insertion of animations (current study);
