Nestled near Randsfjorden and surrounded by lush forests, ENEG is the perfect GA getaway, VFR training spot, or hop between Gardermoen or south towards other airports like Kjeller or Torp.
Østnes Helicopters is one of the major operators based at Eggemoen, specializing in the sale, maintenance, and operation of Airbus helicopters. As an official Airbus Helicopters distributor for the Nordic region, they serve both private and commercial customers across the Nordic contries. Their modern facilities at Eggemoen support everything from aircraft assembly and servicing to pilot training and demo flights, making the airfield a key hub for rotorcraft operations in Scandinavia.
Eggemoen is also the home of the Ringerikets Motorflyklubb, an aero club for general aviation it also serves as a flight school where you can study for your private pilot license.
