Get geared up for summer and come visit the glowy, dreamy sunset strip of SOCAL, home to some of the most high value military bases like Edwards afb, and home to none other than March ARB, located in the heart of Moreno Valley! March ARB, an air reserve base located in Riverside is home to the 452nd AMW, hosting C-17s and KC-135s. Primary goal being mobility, March ARB is also home to Metrea and Omega Air Tanker services, both military contracted aerial refueling groups holding some of the worlds only civilian KC-135s and 707s purposed specifically for aerial refueling. The 336th ARW, known as the RATTS, operates out of March as an air reserve squadron. The 912th ARW, the active duty squadron of March, operates as a detachment of Fairchild AFB and won't always run the March tailband on their KC-135s. They often pop in and out of March, however, March is their homebase. The March KC-135s use the callsigns RATS and BAJA when flying, with the first number usually being associated with the day of the week (i.e. tuesday being 2) and the number of flight it is for the day.

In this livery pack, the entirety of the March KC-135 fleet was replicated in extreme detail with 12K texturing down all the way to the maintenance texts on the tail and rudder as well as custom RBF flags. This is easily one of my most extensive KC-135 livery projects, taking over a month and a half to complete, completely remodeling the KC-135 textures, logos, and detailing. March is special to me because I visisted there once and I had an awesome experience, and I hope to go back someday soon. I tried my hardest to capture every little detail of California and March you could possibly get in these liveries, and I hope you can appreciate the small details that took a while to complete :)
