    Description

    This Rans S-7S is the worlds first study level RC plane for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
    Made from the best lightweight materials and carefully glued together, the Rans S7S will bring you a completely new experience.
    If you crash it, you have to repair it yourself though ;P
    Enjoy the first bush plane for your backyard!

    FEATURES

    1,6m wingspan
    4kg
    15cc methanol engine
    300ml fuel tank (~15+ min flight time)
    Digital metal gear servos
    Custom features (discover it yourself)
    Up to 4k PBR textures

    There's a few clickable features but they are only available from the cockpit view (move the camera around to discover them)
    The aircraft is tested and compatible with FS2024 but the clickspots don't work. You have to use ctrl+e / ctrl+shift+e for the engine startup and shutdown.

    The "big brother" of this RC S-7S is in development and will be released soon. I'm working on more bush flying related projects together with FlyBoy Simulations and High Ready Simulations who provided parts for this project.

    Ich verwende dazu dann die Radiomaster TX16S (direkt per USB)

    Haha, glad you like it!
    I wanted to create an RC plane for years and see if the flight model can handle it. So I finally combined that idea with one of my current projects and the RC S-7S was born.
    There's even more "exotic" projects planned in the near future...stay tuned ;D

    Excellent work! I was able to set up a decent cockpit view in VR by clicking on camera>pilot>close and then using the space bar to fine tune my exact location within the cockpit. Voila! Really fun to fly from within the cockpit. It's the ultimate low and slow fly-by the-seat-of-your pants experience. Great frame rates in VR too. Very creative. Thank you!

    I don't have much experience with helicopter flight models yet. But it will be an iteresting test to see how it will handle.

    That actually was the plan....but it's too small. The camera glitches though the wooden frame and you can't see much. Especially with headtrackers or in vr a cockpit cam doesn't make much sense. you can switch to "pilot close" so sit on top of the wing.
    I will experiment with the new scale value to make a "cockpit" view posible but maybe that setting is only for vr.
