    Description

    NOTE: This airport has been completely revamped, to the point where the only thing similar to the old airport is that it is near the same location. Everything else is now changed.

     

    Whistler.

    A small bustling town situated in the middle of a bunch of mountains, Whistler is a very cozy town, also home to lots of winter activities, it seemed inevitable that there would be a nice little airstrip that would be situated there.

    WRONG.

    There was no airfield within about 15 kilometers of there and for my first Airport project, why not attempt something right in the town?

    The airstrip isn't very big, there is a mountain on one end of the runway, and on the other end, there are the outskirts of the town of Whistler.

    The Waterbase runway is pretty big, which is over 4000 ft. and is probably able to take on any amphibious aircraft.

    NOTE: 

    This scenery currently works perfectly well with  t0kenkiwi's Whistler Blackcomb Heliport and t0kenkiwi's Green lake Aerodrome.

    Excellent improvement. Really liked the taxiway and terminal plane parking. It is getting better and better. Keep up the good work.

    Great idea and work, appreciate it. Just a couple of things that might improve it: 1 Remove Highline tower. 2 You have a beautiful main terminal, if you place concrete aprons and taxiway for access and aircraft parking, it would not only be more practical, but offer more realism to your work.     I've been trying in every sungle update to remove the powerlines, although all three times so far it has not worked. With taxilines and a concrete apron, that would be a good idea!

    Nice new update but I think he meant the apron to be grass not just a taxiway

    Shark's Teeth Airfield is a fictional Canadian research station located on top of the Shark's Teeth Peaks. It is an airfield of utmost danger, and most pilots will have a difficult time here. With wind, clouds and weather, this airfield is nearly unusable most of the time. At least there's air traffic control, and maybe eventually an ILS system just in case. Cheers!
