    A400M United States Coast Guard

    This is a fictional livery for the A400M Atlas in the colors of the United States Coast Guard.

    The livery based on the real C 130 aircraft  from the USCG.

    Hi, love your skins. Are these for the default ASOBO MSFS 2024 A400M? I have dropped these into my community folder but nothing shows up.

    Yes, this livery is for the MSFS 2024 native A400M Atlas. Simply unzip the download and copy the contents of the folder to your Community folder. I use the MSFS2024 AddonLinker, which makes it even easier.

    Hi Willowfsx. When you are saving these variants, it appears you are sometimes forgetting to change the package name in the manifest file? The Coast Guard v1.2 still has "title": "Livery_MS_A400 British Antarctic Survey". This caused me all sorts of headache while debugging my new addong manager app lol. But hey, I learned a few things along the way, like don't set uniqueness on addon titles!

    Excellent job. Just to add to what was already said, I'm being super critical only because you did such a great job this was about all I could find, the number on the nose should go to the bare area closer to the door. Also, it looks like in the photos that you have "CoastGuard", which is how it is spelt in most countries but in the USA they make it two words. Also, the number on the tail should drop straight down to the white directly below where it is now. Also, on the US aviation insignia, pick one for the fuselage or the tail. They very rarely have both fuselage and tail because both can be seen from the same location so it becomes redundant. Like I said, if it were not for the fact I know they USCG does not fly the M400 I would have thought it was a copy of the real thing. Great job! I'm just being extremely picky to help you make it that much better yet.

    Hello FlightsimFSX15,
    Thank you for your kind comment. We simmers are very different: for some the flag of their home country on the hull is enough, the enthusiasts want a paint job as close to the original as possible. Basically, I understand both parties.
    I will try to implement your suggestions for improvement step by step as far as possible. On the A400 here in the sim, the wings are mirrored. That is a big problem. Labels on the wing are unfortunately not possible. I think together we will get better and better. Without extensive help from other very helpful members of our community I would never have managed to create a livery for the A400. A big thank you to everyone who supported me with good tips and tools

    Just one small tweek you may want to consider: "COASTGUARD" is correctly spelled "COAST GUARD". Two words.

    Very cool! Are you forced to have the US insignia on both wings because of mirroring? (US is only top right/bottom left wing, but I know some stock aircraft have annoying texture limitations.) Noticed the cool orange US livery had the same issue.

    Also, just a creative suggestion, since I've seen this on a couple of aircraft: US planes aren't going to have US Coast Guard, US Navy, etc. more than once on a plane's fuselage, typically. :) Obviously it's a fictional livery so nothing is "wrong!" Just thought I'd throw it in as a suggestion to make your beautiful liveries feel even more real.

    thank you for your friendly comment and the picture. Yes the wings are mirrored at the model. That is a problem. :(
    Maybe there will be an update in the future to fix this. the information with the writing on the fuselage was new for me. Thank you for that information my friend.
