Description
Hello dear aviation enthusiast,
I am happy to share with you here a livery created exclusively for the Boeing Stearman model 75 payware produced by Golden Age simulation.
This livery is that of the Model 75 PT13 which appears in the first minutes of the attack on Pearl Harbor in the famous film "TORA TORA TORA!" by Richard Fleischer, Kinji Fukasaku and Toshio Masuda in 1970.
This film tells the story of the entry into the war of the United States in 1941. When the Japanese bombers arrived in the area, a PT13 piloted by a student and his instructor found themselves within firing range. The instructor managed to dodge the attack (which is what we see in the movie. Unfortunately, in reality it seems that the PT13 was shot down.
I hope this little work will delight you as much as its creation did for me.

The Tora! Tora! Tora! scene was based on the experience of instructor pilot Cornelia Fort (in the movie the trainee calls her "Miss Fort") - she was flying an Interstate Cadet in reality (and landed it safely though it was later strafed on the ground) but there may not have been one available for the film. Fort went on to join the Women's Auxiliary Ferrying Squadron but sadly was to die at the age of 24 when another plane hit her aircraft.

This add-on features a custom livery for the Boeing Stearman Model 75 PT13, inspired by its appearance in the film "TORA TORA TORA!" which depicts the events leading up to the attack on Pearl Harbor. Designed exclusively for the payware version produced by Golden Age Simulation, this livery recreates a significant moment in aviation history. It highlights the story of a student pilot and instructor who faced danger during the attack, adding historical context to your flight simulation experience.
