    China Eastern Airlines (B-8972) for iniBuilds A330-300 (RR Variant)

     

    This is my rendition of China Eastern Airline's B-8972 for iniBuilds A330-300 (RR). I tried to make it as realistic as possible, but you may experience some inaccuracies due to the fact, that the paintkit is WIP.

    Installation:

    Unzip and drag the file into your community folder.

    Known issues:

    • no registration under the wing due to mirrored wing textures
    • cabin is just basic, because it is pretty hard to paint it at the moment

    Please report me any issues you find. I will try to improve this livery once the paintkit allows better customization.

    Thanks for your rating :) Unfortunately I am currently not planning on doing any more liveries for the A330. But if I ever want to do another one, I will keep your suggestions in mind

    for some reason I get a crash to desktop with this livery in the community folder. Once I remove it all works again. Any idea ? Thank you

    That seems odd. Never happened to me. Maybe it's a conflicting addon? Did you try to only load this livery and no other mods? Another reason could be a known bug that sometimes the sim crashes the first time you want to choose a livery. When you start the sim again, everything works fine. But it's hard to recreate your problem, since the livery works fine for me and others :(

    I didn't know about that bug. Let me try again. I did test with an empty community folder. Let me try to load a second time to see if that changes anything

    Thanks for the kind words. I was thinking of doing Air Caraibes, but it has P&W engines in real life that are not in the sim. So I decided to do the "realistic" liveries first. Maybe I will do Air Caraibes in the future, because I really like the livery

    hello, thank you for your answer. I did not know that air craribe was using PW engine. But even if it s not really realistic, i dont think people care that much.

    Yes, a -200 variant is planned. Will do Fiji Airways first and then China Eastern -200. Thanks for the rating :)

    Yeah, you're right. I mean the font ist actually mirrored in real life, but not the letters itself. Will fix this today
