    Airbus H225 | RAF Puma 50th Anniversary XW224 | 8k | v2

    The design is inspired in Royal Air Force Puma XW224. In 2021 it was painted in honour of the 50th anniversary of the Puma helicopters in service with the Royal Air Force. The paint scheme is very nice. Let's see it in the AIrbus H225 body.

    Version 1: let's see how it flies 😊

    Next thing: to fix the flag distortions on the tail (sorry)... I hope MSFS publish a paintkit, or unencrypted model, to avoid that difficulty.

    Version 2: Matte finish, but the now undistorsioned union jack 👌, some decals and surfaces affected by exhaust. Enjoy.🕹️🚁

    NOTE ON LODs: 😶 MSFS2024 is very agressive decreasing level of detail (LOD) to give you most frames per second (FPS). The problem is that If you are a bit far from the helicopter you will see undesired distorsions in the livery. You can avoid that by forcing LOD to 0 in Development Mode.

    Go to Devmode > Debug > Debug Model LODs > Enable force active LOD > 0 (0 = most detailled) to enjoy the model and the scenary with more detail.

    Is this a complete model or just a repaint of the H225? If it is just a repaint, where can I down load the helicopter and is it compatible with MSFS 2020?

    It is a repaint for the Airbus H225 of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. You need MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe.
