LTDB Çukurova Airport by aeksimulations

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: As the ICAO code for Çukurova (LTDB) has been assigned to Niğde Bor Airport in the simulator, it is not possible to use the correct code for Çukurova. Because of this, the airport has the ICAO code LTDX in the simulator. This should not make any difference as the navdata uses the correct code, you can use LTDB when planning your flights and programming your FMC/MCDU but some features like the PMDG EFB performance calculator may identify LTDB as Nigde Bor Airport. Just change the ICAO to LTDX and it will be fine.

Situated on the plains of Çukurova between the cities of Adana and Mersin, Çukurova Airport was opened to passenger traffic on 11 August 2024, replacing the older Şakirpaşa Airport at Adana. The airport has a large terminal with domestic and international facilities alongside two runways, one of which has ILS CATII capability while the other one is used as a backup and as a taxiway. The airport is served mainly by local airlines including Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, AJet and SunExpress while some international carriers like Aeroflot and Qatar Airways sometimes make an appearance.

The scenery features one-to-one runway markings and taxiways including the orange and blue lines, custom ground markings, working PAPI and ILS. The airport is now compatible with GSX as of update 1.1. AI traffic compatibility is untested.

The terminal was modelled using default buildings in the MSFS SDK. If you have a 3D modelled version of the actual terminal, don't hesitate to contact me.
