Gorno-Altaysk Airport (IATA: RGK, ICAO: UNBG) is an airport in Russia located 9 km west of Gorno-Altaysk. It services small airliners. In 2011, the construction of a new terminal and a new and modern runway, for accepting larger aircraft, was finished. The new terminal and runway were first tested by an Airbus A319 completing a S7 Airlines flight to Novosibirsk.

UOLE XLMO Olenegorsk
Olenya is a naval aviation base on the Kola Peninsula, 92 kilometers south of Murmansk, near the town of Olenegorsk. Tu-22M3 planes are deployed at Olenya airbase. The length of the runway is 3,500 meters and the surface is concrete. In the 1960s Tu-114 passenger planes were making regular flights to Cuba (via the North Atlantic) via Olenya airfield. From the air base Olenya October 30, 1961 took off, an airplane Tu-95B, carrying a thermonuclear bomb with 57 megatons (Tsar Bomba) for testing on Novaya Zemlya and escorted him airplane-laboratory Tu-16. The air base was visited by Nikita Khrushchev and Fidel Castro in 1963 On September 10, 2008, two Tu-160 bombers flew from their home base in Engels to Libertador airfield in Venezuela, using the Olenya airbase as a hopping airfield.
