🚨Update note for MSFS 2024 :

You can either use my Bora Bora watermask in MSFS 2020 or 2024. For MSFS 2024, Microsoft has now created watermasks all accross French Polynesia but they are fuzzy and they have erased all the coral patterns. I restablish them in my watermask that fits well with MSFS 2024.

So just drop the file in your Community 2020 or 2024. If you use both sim, no need to copy it twice. Use Addon linker to link it for instance in your Community 2024. You can also add in the Community folder the boat libraries I indicated. They will replace by 3D boats all the boat footprints from the satellite picture.

Vous pouvez utiliser mon watermask Bora Bora dans MSFS 2020 ou 2024. Pour MSFS 2024, Microsoft a désormais créé des watermask pour toute la Polynésie française. Cependant, ils sont flous et ils ont effacé tous les motifs coralliens. Je les ai rétablis dans mon watermask qui s'adapte bien à MSFS 2024.

Il suffit donc de déposer le fichier dans votre Community 2020 ou 2024. Si vous utilisez les deux sims, pas besoin de le copier deux fois. Utilisez Addon linker pour le lier par exemple dans votre Community 2024. Vous pouvez également ajouter dans le dossier Community les bibliothèques de bateaux que j'ai indiquées. Elles remplaceront par des bateaux 3D toutes les empreintes de bateaux de l'image satellite.

Le World Update 13 "Oceania" de Microsoft/Asobo a ajouté à Bora Bora (NTTB) des objets 3D (aéroport, hôtels resorts avec bungalows sur pilotis, navette maritime Air Tahiti pour le transfert de l'aéroport vers Vaitape, etc.). Le WU13 a également créé un watermask montrant les couleurs nuancées du lagon. Etrangement cependant, ce watermask est partiel et imparfait puisque des pans entier du récif-barrière ont été effacés. 

Je vous propose donc ici un mod permettant de rétablir l'intégralité du lagon de Bora Bora, tel qu'on peut le voir dans la vrai vie (je suis Polynésien, je sais de quoi je parle 😉). Les couleurs du lagon sont nuancées à cause des variations de profondeurs et les dégradés de bleu et de vert ne sont pas exagérément saturés par MSFS puisqu'ils sont ainsi IRL ! Le mod permet donc de voir tout le récif-barrière ceinturant l'île et délimitant le lagon, ainsi que les structures coralliennes du platier récifal visibles grâce aux eaux transparentes. J'ai rajouté également divers types de bateaux. Pour les voir, il faudra télécharger les librairies d'objets suivants :

Mode d'emploi :
- télécharger le mod "kohheiva-airport-nttb-bora-bora.zip"
- copier et déziper ce fichier dans votre dossier Community
- copier et déziper dans votre dossier Community les fichiers relatifs aux librairies "static-boat-3d-model-library" et "moving-boats-3d-model-library"
- Le mod est compatible avec la scène de base de MSFS/Asobo pour NTTB puisqu'il ne fait que la compléter. Ne pas oublier toutefois de faire l'update optionnel de la WU13 "Oceania" à partir du gestionnaire de contenus de MSFS.

World Update 13 "Oceania" from Microsoft/Asobo added 3D objects to Bora Bora (NTTB) (airport, resort hotels with overwater bungalows, Air Tahiti maritime shuttle for the transfer from the airport to the main island, etc.). WU13 also created a watermask showing the nuanced colors of the lagoon. Strangely however, this watermask is partial and imperfect since entire sections of the barrier reef have been erased.

I made a mod allowing you to restore the entire Bora Bora lagoon, as we can see it in real life (I'm Polynesian, I know what I'm talking about 😉). The colors of the lagoon are nuanced due to variations in depth and the gradients of blue and green are not overly saturated by MSFS since they are that way IRL! Now you can see the entire barrier reef surrounding the island and delimiting the lagoon, as well as the coral structures of the reef flat visible thanks to the transparent waters. I also added various types of boats. To see them, you will need to download the following object libraries:

How to:
- download the mod "kohheiva-airport-nttb-bora-bora.zip"
- copy and unzip this file into your Community folder
- copy and unzip into your Community folder the files relating to the "static-boat-3d-model-library" and "moving-boats-3d-model-library" libraries from supersprud
- The mod is compatible with the scene of MSFS/Asobo for NTTB since it only completes it. However, do not forget to do the optional update of the WU13 "Oceania" from the MSFS content manager.
