    Salty 747-8i in Lufthansa Colors 

    Reg: D-ABYM "Bayern"

     

    This is my first try with the 747-8i... so keep in mind still a wip, it will have some updates soon ;) 

    My artwork comes with:

    - Custom PBR and normalmaps
    - Reworked Engine and wings and added more realism
    - True livery colors
    - Realistic weathering and panel gaps accurate to the model

    A huge thanks to Marcioart121BR for alow me to use his 747 model.

    Installation:


    Just move folder "salty747-DLH_D-ABYM" inside Community folder.

    Hello, sir! I installed the livery, but it is transparent on the Salty 747 aircraft. I installed the correct salty 747-DLH_D-FIN in the Community folder. What could be the problem?
    I'm asking for help.
    Figured it out. the problem was in the 747_8I file.xml programs REAL EFFECTS B747-8I MSFS . Returned the original file 747_8I.xml , and the livery showed up.

    Do you know if this works on the development version of the Salty? Last week there was an update which changed a lot of things and added EFB into the cockpit.

    Hi,
    I like it better than the Salty 5 star Lufthansa version .
    However:
    1. digits on instruments (such as speed or altitude) are not as distinct as in Salty version, grey not white
    2. flies very smoothly but doesn't react quickly enough on VNAV commands

    Hi there. Thank you and glad you like it. About your problems, i dont think that my exterior textures has influence in how the cockpit or autopilots works in the sim . My guess is the aircraft model that i am using to paint (that it was not made by me) can be the trouble;)
