Welcome to Hannover Airport (EDDV)

Initiated in early 2018, this spare-time project by a group of flight simulator enthusiasts has finally made its way to your simulator in its early version. Updates will be periodically released to enhance the virtual world with more details and complexity. Situated in Lower Saxony, Germany, the airport serves as a major hub for TUIfly. The project will include all aspects of a state-of-the-art airport, including:

• Custom buildings and assets
• Custom DEM model
• Up-to-date ground poly
• Living world, featuring custom ground services and interiors

Installation
To enjoy the content, simply extract the downloaded file to your MSFS2020/2024 community folder.
If you want to use GSX Jetways, go to crossfeed-eddv-hannover\scenery\crossfeed and rename eddv_jetway_links.bgl to eddv_jetway_links.OFF and add GSX jetways. If you want to use the default jetways included in this project, exclude the GSX jetways in EDDV.

Note on the current development:

Following discussions, we have decided to release an early alpha version of the airport. This means there is a lack of buildings, textures, markings, or animations. However, all missing elements will be gradually added through updates, allowing the airport's immersion to grow over time. We are sharing this early stage of Hannover Airport to provide an initial glimpse of the details and ideas we have for this project in mind. We welcome any ideas and opinions from the community.

We recommend to use the default jetways included. An official GSX profile can be found here.
