    EGGD Bristol International - Remove Static Aircraft from PilotPlus - Image 1

    Description

    This package provides the ability to remove the static aircraft that are part of PilotPlus' Bristol International scenery. Some ground vehicles around these static aircraft have also been removed.

    With these static aircraft removed, it unblocks the stand numbers: 1, 7, 8, 10, 11, 20, 24, 23 and 29. However, these are not selectable as departure stands unless you use the custom departure location from the MSFS menu. Therefore, it might be best to use this on arrival rather than departure.

    Requirements

    • Installation of the PilotPlus's EGGD Bristol International scenery.

    Installation

    • Copy the folder within the package to your MSFS community folder
    • This folder must be after the PilotPlus' folder. Therefore, please keep the zzz prefix on the folder.

    Notes

    • Other than removing the static aircraft, no other modifications have been made.
    • If the static aircraft are still visible, please ensure that the package folder within the community folder is after the PilotPlus folder.

    It looks like this add-on is designed to load after the PilotPlus airport, so make sure the airport is installed first, then download this add-on and put it into your Community folder. Seems to work ok :)

    It's meant to be underneath the airport, not above it. That's why it has "zzz" at the beginning, so it's at the bottom in numerical order

    Hi, this does not seem to work for me. I purchased this scenery through Marketplace therefore some files I believe are encripted. Would this make a difference?

    Hello,

    IIRC when I have tried, the pushback didn't seem to like the fact that I didn't connect the new stands with the taxiways from the PilotPlus version and have since attempted to do this but couldn't figure out how.

    Did you have PilotPlus' version of EGGD installed?
    If so, did you make sure this add-on was after the PilotPlus folder in the community folder?

    Works beautifully! Able to pull in on arrival to any stand now without the static aircraft.
