HISTORY
EGNI Skegness (ingoldmells) Aerodrome was establised in 1914. Situated on the east coast of Lincolnshire England.
During world war one, it was used as a tempory military airbase by the "Royal Navy Air Services". And later by the very first "Butlins Skegness Holiday Camp". Butlins used this for commercial and pleasure flights for many years before it ceased operation in the early 1990s. All its former life was swept away and replaced by an housing estate.
In 1992 a new site for the Aerodrome opened just south of the original one to serve a home for a Medical Centre.
Next door to the east is the "Skegness Water Leisure Park" which includes a large static holiday caravans site. This sits just one mile south of Ingoldmells and 2 miles north of Skegness
It has two runways grass srtips of 540 meters and 755 meters. Plenty of room for twin aircraft. No fuel services are available
