    Gstaad - Saanen airfield is a small airfield located in the Swiss alps in the village of Saanen. It was built in 1944 as a military airfield during world war II. The Swiss army used the airfield until the late 1980s.
    2018 the owner of the airfield built a new airport building and hangars. 
    During summer many glider pilots come to Saanen. They often camp on the airfield and fly with their gliders in the alps.

    How to install:
    (0. Delete older versions of this add-on.)
    1. Download the ZIP-file.
    2. Open the ZIP-file. There should be a folder called "nfm-saanen-lsgk".
    3. Drop this folder into your MSFS community folder.
    4. Start MSFS. The add-on should work now.

    I tried to show the airfield in a normal state, not with any temporary festivals or similar things.
    But I'll think about doing a separate scenery for the festival in Château-d'Oex :)

    Nice airport, but found a big mistake.
    After a long search why I couldn't see any ground services anymore and after a long time filtering out add-ons, I came across your airport.
    It causes ground services to disappear. This definitely needs to be corrected.

    Wonderful airport amd wonderful area for flying. Unfortumately I also have the blocked grey-white patern at the apron, even with the latest version 1.2.0 installed.

    I am very sorry, but I really don't know why this is happening.
    I thought with V1.2.0 this problem should be solved. But the really strange this is that only some people have this problem... I'll keep looking for a solution but I'm not sure if I'll ever find one.

    If I deactivate Airport "Flugplatz Hegmatten (LSPH)" the texture is good. Seems to be incompatible.

    I tried removing LSPH. Unfortunately it did not solve the problem for me.

    @Eagle1: Try to remove both LSZK and LSPH.

    Great scenery ,thanks. Ideal site for gliding but somehow stops tow from working and removes "wingholder"

    Hmmmm... I don't have a clue what could cause this. I didn't change anything that should stop the glider tow and wing holder.
    But I'll look into it. I'll let you know if I discover the reason for this.

    I have that problem also with other custom airports.
    Has to do something with the AirportServices
    Removing that folder from the affected airport fixes the issue for me

    You should look at the aiportsevices folder structure, it shall be as below
    (“root_mod_folder/AirportServices/ICAO/Services.spb”) and then edit the layout.json File to match the new folder structure.

    Hi Nico, the terrain in front of the hangars looks crazy, other that on the pictures. I've uploaded it to "Benutzer-Galerie", but i can't choose the picture how it looks on my installation. The terrain ist white/grey instead of black asphalt. Perhaps is there missing an add-on? Thanks Roland LSZB

    That's very strange. The asphalt texture I used there is a standard one from MSFS.
    Did you do anything to your local game files that could cause this?

    I have the same problem. in the Update it even looks more strange, like a chessboard. Looks like the texture is not a standard or in all editions of MSFS included. Hope for a fix.

    Really like what you've done with the place, thanks for sharing! Perhaps some animated people/services might inject a little more life into the project?
