    Pyongyang Sunan ZKPY (WIP) - Image 1

    Description

    This is a work-in-progress scenery that will (eventually) make Pyongyang airport accurate as to how it would be IRL, currently, I have fixed the runways and some of the taxiways, however there is still a long way to go. This scenery restores Pyongyangs runways to how they were in about 2005, since microsoft used super old imagery for this airport. There is newer imagery from Google that shows the new 17/35 (this scenery has the old one) however I do not know how to import imagery into the game yet. I hope you enjoy, please comment if you would like some improvements.

    Installation:

    Like most things, just Drag N Drop the folder inside the zip into your community folder.

    Scenery can only be downloaded by members.

    Quick question, I am planning on adding a centerline on the Taxiways, however I don't think it's actually there IRL, do you people want it? Or should I leave without?

    Thank you! I'm happy about everything from north korea. Its amazing to fly there. Sadly not much to see yet, but now with you fix, its a little bit more unique. Keep up the good work!

    Thanks for the feedback! Also, does the creator of that terminal allow other's to put it in their own scenery?

    yeah, making zkpy have always been what i wanted, but the lack of information is what holding me back, im able to work on the model and you in other stuff

    I did fly from Pyongyang to Wonsan in the sim today, and Wonsan is just as broken as Pyongyang is, however since most people that film the DPRK land at Pyongyang, it would be hard to find photos of Wonsan terminal maybe (not that I've done any research, but I'm just guessing)

    Ah, fellow North Korean aviation enthusiasts. I have been doing research into making custom buildings for my Wonsan scenery but I have zero 3D modelling knowledge so it'll be a bit of a journey. But ultimately I believe there are enough reference images out there that I could theoretically create most of the buildings at Wonsan to a reasonable level of accuracy.

    I have no knowledge to modelling either, but I do agree that there probably is enough images of the terminal. But I haven't done much research into wonsan to really know for sure.
