    A330-900 Headwind textures mod for

    Pre-release V0.6-alpha.4

     

    Original cockpit textures were modified

    List of modifications in 2.10 version:

     

    ( all changes based on real a330-900 photos )

     

    • Textues colours less bluish better quality ( no major color shifts )
    • More dirt and scratches on windows
    • MCDU dark blue digits changed for light blue and darker magneta 
    • FCU amber digits with yellow glow around
    • Brighter orange cockpit flood light at pedastral and overhead
    • Font and numbers with inside glow
    • Dark or black knobs turned to silver including engine mode selector and more
    • Optimal pilot camera settings ( position xyz )antiskid off by default at cold and dark
    • Exterior lights: Landing and beacon changed. Visibility increased from distance at day and night.
    • Fusalage enlightened by landing lights, increased range of landing and taxi lights.
    • Better cockpit interior lights
       
       

     

    To install :

    Drag and drop rar file ( extract to community ) and replace files. If you don`t like it you will have to reinstall airplane.

    Before installing readme.pdf file. To customize this mod you can leave white digits or just change for yellow leaving original textures. 

    To do so copy just SimObjects folder in order to change just textures. If you just want to change yellow digits just copy html_ui folder. To change effects copy Effects folder. To change all drag and drop and forget ;)

    Not yet but some files can have same names and texturing can fit some not. I`m not sure but I`m about to make mod for new cockpit. Basically I`ve allredy started.

    I had a lot of other stuff to do. Sorry for delay. First release I think will show up in August. It depends on many circumstances. It can be in next week or for 3 weeks. Stay tuned. And thanks for compliment ! ;) Other think I need to check is Headwind final cockpit release. If they have any date in August or october I will postpone this project in order to focus on final Headwind release.

    I will realease new cockpit textures within few days for new cockpit in ver. v0.7.0 and V0.8-alpha.0 . Cockpit looks very nice finally :) There is some work to do for sure to look even better. Thanks a lot for support by donation that I had last time ( especially thank you Tombo ! ) . Work in progess.

    Textures are not compatible with latest release stable V.0.7 and alpha V.0.8. I`m about to upgrade cockpit in next 2 weeks with further updates. Please donate via PayPal in order to fasten my work that takes about 40-80h not counting updates. Along with cockpit textures will come interior and exterior lights modifications if needed. Seperate stand alone textures and lights modifications will allow you to install single or both mods. Stay tuned !

    The textures Work but the yellow Autopilotpanel don't. I' m using the stable Version, but it's a good add-on you've done a great job

    Thanks, use alpha version instead and should work or just copy and replace just texture folder due to Headwind changed it`s default fon`t to amber .

    It worked. At first there were some bugs but i managed to get it going. You did a great job on the mod. Keep the good work up.
