Tuzla International Airport ( IATA: TZL , ICAO: LQTZ ) Tuzla International Airport has a rich history that spans several decades. Originally established as a military airfield during the Yugoslav era, it underwent significant transformations to become a thriving civilian airport. In recent years, it has emerged as a key transportation hub in Europe, attracting airlines and passengers from across the continent. Through continuous upgrades and expansions, Tuzla Airport has solidified its position as a vital gateway, enhancing regional connectivity and contributing to the growth of European travel.
Tuzla International Airport was first opened on May 10, 1998. It started its operations as a military airfield during the Yugoslav era. However, in the aftermath of the Bosnian War, efforts were made to transform it into a civilian airport. The reconstruction and expansion of the airport began in 2004, and it was officially reopened as Tuzla International Airport in 2008.
The Tuzla International Airport scenery has been meticulously developed in accordance with the current Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) for Tuzla. Every detail and feature of the add-on has been carefully crafted to align with the specifications and guidelines outlined in the AIP.
