    Description

    In 2021, Aston Martin starts producing a very limited number of its brand new hypercar: The Valkyrie. It is powered by a Cosworth RA engine: the most powerful atmospheric V12 engine ever made. It's a lightweight engine of barely 200 kgs (450 lbs) that delivers up to 1,000 hp.

    The Scrapyard Monster is a seriously fun and fictional aircraft. It was born from the question: What if a crazy aeronautical engineer found a brand new Cosworth RA engine and decided to visit a scrapyard to find the rest of the parts he needed? Not with the goal of building a car, but a lightweight, overpowered, ridiculously unsafe, aircraft abomination!

    This is a hypothetical result: an airplane with a power-to-weight ratio twice that of a Spitfire! You can take off and land from a helipad or the roof of most buildings. You can choose if you want to fly low and slow (down to 60 knots) or high and fast (over 200 knots). And it's not only here for the joke: The Scrapyard Monster is equipped with all the features and systems you could ever wish for, and even more...

    There is no way you could have bought the Scrapyard Monster on SimMarket (it shouldn't be present on SimMarket).

    Maybe you meant "from the in-simulator Marketplace"? In this case, the answer would be: no difference at all. It's the same build.

    I don't know whats happened but this plane refuses to move as of october 2025, installed on fresh Msfs with no other addons, i'm still trying to solve whats causing it, other than thats this is a great freeware plane.

    Do you have your flight model settings in "LEGACY" mode instead of "Modern", maybe? That's the only thing that could cause this issue, from what I know.

    Can't taxi. Plane won't move on ground and the plane falls from the sky like a stone. What I'm doing wrong? Please help.

    Are you using "Legacy" flight model? If it's the case, you should switch to modern.
    Apart from that, make sure your prop pitch is not too low, although I don't think the Monster can go as low as feathering. So it's probably just your flight model settings in your sim.

    I feel like this is begging to be updated to work with Aerial Advertising (about the only career mode I could imagine this working well with) just so we can tow some banners with the Scrapyard Monster!

    This addon is absolute rubbish, literally. I love it!!! Don't take this the wrong way, but I wouldn't like to spend any time in your head XD

    But don't worry too much, I'm also able to work on more serious stuff, like the XF-11 (which will get a massive update really soon) and the Gabriel which should be released in a month or two. You should take a look ;)
