Description
This plugin adds two F/A-18 wingmen that mimic player's flight operation and fly in formation behind the player's aircraft in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
This plugin was originally created as a test file for simconnect in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 during the development of a multi-platform multiplayer flight software. Recently discovered during a disk cleanup, I am now making it available for public use.
Please note that this plugin was originally created as a test file for simconnect in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 during the development of a multi-platform multiplayer flight software, it may not have a sophisticated user interface. It only adds two F/A-18 wingmen that mimic player's flight operation and fly in formation behind the player's aircraft, providing a more immersive and realistic flying experience, but the player does not have the ability to give commands to the wingmen, they will only mechanically mimic the player's flight maneuvers.
If there is a positive response, I may consider updating the plugin with a user interface and more options.

Very interesting project!
It´s just, i don´t fly the Hornet, but i would LOVE to have the chance to use other aircraft.
Best would be to have the chance to use ANY other aircraft we want.
Other jets, other GA, other "anything"...
It would be ok for me, if i had to edit some config files maybe to ehter the filename(s) and/or directory paths to the plane i wanna use. Configuring via a nice little GUI also would be nice to have...
Any chances in the near future?

it's already good but some details are missing, for example the 2 cloned planes do not retract the landing gear after takeoff, there is no pilot in the clone planes, I would really like an application with these options and also the possibility of having only one clone plane that follows, and the possibility of choosing another plane than the F-18
in any case it is very promising and I encourage you for the future
For those who don't know how to do it, just launch a flight with the F18 and once the flight is launched you click on the .exe

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you enjoyed the plugin. I will consider adding more details and options in future versions, such as the ability to choose other planes in place of the F-18 and allowing the clone planes to retract landing gear and have pilots. What a great idea, I look forward to seeing it grow! Seems like it could potentially even form the basis of some sort of crude aerial refueling solution!

This is great fun. Three planes, including my own, with two F-18s. I followed the f-18 in a Cessna. I would like to know how to get more numbers. Thank you.
