About the Robinson R44 Raven II Helicopter

The four-seat Robinson R44 Raven II helicopter is a high performing, reliable machine that is easy to maintain. R44s have a two-bladed rotor system, T-bar cyclic and the latest in Robinson technology including streamlined instrument panels and crashworthy bladder fuel tanks.
The R44's aerodynamic fuselage optimizes airspeed and fuel
economy. Hydraulic controls eliminate feedback forces and provide responsive handling. A low tail-rotor tip speed, newly designed muffler and large cambered tail reduce flyover noise.
Raven II helicopters are powered by Lycoming's IO-540 fuel injected
engine. The IO-540 delivers better altitude performance, increased payload and eliminates the need for carburetor heat.

Very nice and fun to fly. Works well with actual version of the sim. The model looks great, all gauges are working. Even the doors open.
    Thanks for this addon.

Hello, I would like to use this helicopter in my real-size cabin (with real switches). I removed the virtual cockpit from the model.cfg file, but I still want to see the main rotor and blades. Is there a way to do that?

Everything is possible if you have the permission to do so. If you do, you might be able to "hide" or "delete" some 3D parts in Blender.

Bonjour, quel est le GPS qui est au-dessus du tableau de bord ? Activable ? Si oui, possible d'y intégrer une navigation (GPS, KML) ? Merci

This is a very fun model to fly. Its quality, although the built in GPS doesn't seem to work out of the box. I highly recommend using this helicopter to practice flying helicopters. A great trainer and all around helicopter. The default 407 is too sensitive for novice pilots and this R44 model is a great trainer and very easy to fly compared to the 407. I hope there are some improvements made like a different default moving GPS that is native to MSFS2020. Having a few hours in the real R44, this model seems fairly accurate to the real Robinson R44.

I'm very impressed. Well done from all, who are involved due to the Copter Development.
To all of them: Many thanks from Warstein in Germany for this very interesting and not commerial developed Heilcopter :-)

This is fantastic, thanks for putting it together. One minor issue: if I try to start my flight from a heliport, I get an error that reads "you cannot take off from a helipad with the selected aircraft," as if it's an airplane model. Is this a bug, or is there a step I'm missing to be able to take off from helipads?

Would love to have an update with the new throttle binding capabilities. This has been a great add on! appreciate the efforts put into this.

Hi I'd really appreciate some help, I've gone through the PDF with a fine tooth comb, I've spent ages messing with settings and bindings. But this will NOT take off. I raise the collective and the low RPM light buzzes. I've tried every combination of axis, but the RPM gauge does not move.

The bindings for the cyclic are linked to airplane controls not the native helicopter controls. This is simply awful.

is this really native now? the most recent download I have still seems to require AirlandFS, and I cant move the throttle independent to the collective.
