    This package contains repaints for the PMDG 737-800 in colours of Delta Air Lines.

    Installation via OC3

    To reduce file size I have added a 'livery' called 'Delta Air Lines Commons'

    In MSFS 2020 it doesn't show up in the sim menu intentionally.

    In MSFS 2024 it shows up and can be used as N371DA

    Installation via PMDG Operations Center 3:

    1: Extract the *.zip file to a temporary location, ie desktop
    2: Run PMDG Operations Center 3. 
    3: Choose the 737-800, then Import.
    4: Choose the 'dal_commons.zip' folder and at least one of the registrations e.g. 'dal_n3741s.zip' and hit open.
    5. After installation was successful, start MSFS, choose the installed livery and enjoy!
    6: Leave the 'Delta Air Lines Commons' installed as long as you use this pack, as shared textures are stored there needed for all liveries of this package.

    Getting pink textures on exterior with version 60 and 61 of the plane with N3772H. I haven't tested other liveries. This is the only one I installed and loaded to fly.

    Did you check and follow the instructions provided with the pack? They are a bit different with my fleet packs.

    Yes this was my bad sorry. I forgot the commons file with this one. I updated my Sun Country package at the same time and only did the commons for that one and left this one out. All is good now. Thanks.

    Hi, I am unable to extract 2020 part 1, invalid file (windows explorer). I have downloaded a 2nd time, same error. I then tried to extract via zip extractor, this works and I am able to extract all except for dal_n3734b, data error for that file. Thank you.

    I've uploaded the file again and tested it, it's working now. You don't need to extract the individual zip-files e.g. dal_3979da.zip, that's doing OC3 for you.

    Every time I try to install via OC I get an error saying "INVALID LIVERY ZIP". What am I doing wrong that no one else seems to have done?

    Check you are using the correct zip, named in the description above. Also, this livery pack is currently only working in 2020. Update to 2024 is pending atm.

    Hey great paints , I was just using one recently and redownloaded the file and wanted to see if there was something I was installing wrong because its on all the liveries I installed? The paint of the middle section seems to be off and not aligned with the back section leading to weird distortion of the rear windows. I will attach pictures.

    Yeah, I've found OC3 doesn't like the way I do those packs. Both the -900 and the -800 DL pack got a dal_commons installed, so if you've installed both you get this offset (basically the -800 is using the -900 commons - don't ask why idk it's in a totally different folder), it's just weird. The only way you can get around this atm is uninstalling the 900 dal commons if you want to use the 800. I'll fix that with the MSFS 2024 update.

    As an update as I have been trying to figure out the problem. It seems that the fallback of the texture is, for some reason, somehow looking at the dal_commons file under the 737-900er paints causing weird distortion. I have no idea as to why it's doing that. I have the commons folder installed for both 738 and 739 in their respective files.

    Don't understand it as well, the -800 and the -900 are stored in complete different folders. The -800 has no reason to even search for files in any other version of the 737 you have installed simultaneosly. My fix would be to actually rename the texture folder on -900 or -800 commons to something more specific, so the fallbacks don't confuse each others, on the -700 I've already done that. But it's still weird it is even happening.

    @Northeastern292 just as I mentioned in my previous comment uninstall the -900 commons if you want to use the -800. This never happen in OC2, OC3 is a bit strange there searching for files in folders it shouldn't even touch. I am going to address this with the next update.
