    Description

    General

    This is a repaint for the PMDG 737-600 in colors of Lufthansa Vintage (D-ABCE). This repaint is fictional, but is based on the existing 737-200QC.

    Additional information

    Pictures were made with the MSFS 2024 version. MSFS 2020 cabin differs slightly in design.

    This livery comes with a custom tablet background (installation instructions included)

    Installation via OC3

    1: Extract the *.zip file to a temporary location, ie desktop
    2: Run PMDG Operations Center 3. 
    3: Choose the 737-600, then Import.
    4: Choose the 'dlh_retro_dabce.zip' folder and hit open.
    5. After installation was successful, start MSFS, choose the installed livery and enjoy!

    The classic 737s got that, I've no idea why, just tried to replicate it here, so the livery matches the real life one as close as possible

    Thank you so much alxcpt for the new update. The livery was already perfect in the 2020 version, but now after the high-detail upgrade for MSFS2024, it’s an absolute masterpiece! The reason I love this livery so much on the 600 is that my very first flight ever on a 737 was back in 1982 on a 200 wearing this exact livery. :-)

    Thanks! Those retro liveries fit the -600 quite good. They just look too modern on the other variants due to the winglets. In most cases I like the 2024 version a lot better from the exterior, but I must admit, the engines lost some scratches. PMDG seem to have reduced or removed them.

    Thanks. I am working through my 737s. It's a ton of work. I don't know if I want to convert this livery to 2024 before PMDG released their model update.

    Expertly crafted with outstanding precision and detail. Love the metalwork including the scratches on engine nacelles. Please do more of these for the -600 with combination metal/paint retro liveries. Many thanks for all your efforts and sharing.
