    Description

    Hello everyone once again,

    I present to you Thessaloniki's Makedonia airport. Thessaloniki airport is the third largest and second busiest airport in Greece. It is a hub for Aegean Airlines (& Olympic), Ryanair, and Ellinair. It is the main airport of Northern Greece and apart from the city of Thessaloniki it also serves the popular tourist destination of Chalkidiki and the surrounding cities of Central Macedonia. The Athens–Thessaloniki route is the tenth busiest in the EU with 1.8 million passengers. A second terminal is currently under construction as part of a billion-euro investment by Fraport Greece, the company which operates the airport. Version 2.0 adds custom models of both the old terminal that is still being used and the new one which is planned to fully open in summer 2021. 

    There are no SIDs/STARs for RWY 10/28 as the SDK is still very limiting in terms of NavData. 
    If you own a Navigraph subscription, you can download the latest Navigraph Beta for MSFS which provides all current procedures for the sim and it works very well. 

    Keep in mind, some details are still missing and I will be updating this scenery!

    I really hope you enjoy this scenery. The layout of the stands is the latest, and the whole airport has been modeled according to the latest charts released for the Hellenic vACC and Navigraph.

    Just did the VOR DME Z for RWY34 and noticed there are no PAPIs. In this Video:

    Just did another approach at night and the PAPIs are visible. Can we turn up the brightness somehow during daytime?

    Great in conjunction with the GSX file by arpalaiol. Only taxi lights are not completely aligned with yellow taxi lines.

    πολυ καλη δουλεια ! very nice job. wanna mention a couple of things. the taxi signs are missing (holding points , taxiways etc) , and another one is the concrete of runways. try to make it a bit more realistic. it is not grey all the way in real life.

    Nicely done! Just a couple of things to note. The PAPIs for runways 16/34 are not in line with the touchdown zone of the runways, so they give a slightly off glide slope indication, and the taxiway labels don't seem to be used when getting taxi instructions from the in-game ATC (though with the state of the in-game ATC that could be another issue).
