LGKR - Corfu International Airport "Ioannis Kapodistrias" (Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Κέρκυρας "Ιωάννης Καποδίστριας") version 1.3.

The Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport, named after Ioannis Kapodistrias, a distinguished Corfiot diplomat and the first governor of Greece, is located around 2 kilometres south of Corfu Town, half a kilometre north of Pontikonisi. The approach and landing, in a northeasterly direction, offer the flying passengers a spectacular aerial view of Pontikonisi and Vlaherna Monastery as well as the hills of Kanoni as the runway used for landing is actually a few hundred metres away from these landmarks.

- Pantokrator area (Corfu highest point - 911m), Monastery Of Pantokrator, Pantokrator Cafe Bar, Pantokrator transmitter etc.(night daylight)
- new car parking in front of Terminal B
- new vegetation in front of Terminal A and B
- add street lights on the main road from the airport
- improvement of vegetation around the airport runway for a better landing and departure experience
- Kanoni private view of the airport
- and other small adjustments to and from the airport etc.
